Designed to make dispensing pool chemicals safer and more accurate for pool professionals and homeowners. This durable scoop not only has graduated measurements, but also proper dosing instructions molded right into the scoop.
This measuring cup scoop provides approximate weight to volume conversions for several commonly used pool and spa chemicals.
Guide for measurements are molded on the side of the scoop for applications for:
Sodium Bicarbonate, Soda Ash, Cyanuric Acid (CYA), D.E. Powder, and Standard Cup Measurements

Can be used for any dry or liquid, but do not use this or any scoop with more than 1 chemical, use a different scoop for each of your common pool chemicals.

D.E scoop usage tip
1 lb DE  Scoop for Measuring Diatomaceous Pool Filter media powder for your D.E pool filter.
(1) scoop of D.E  will yeld approx. 1lb. of DE = to (5 square feet of filter area.)
Examples below for using measuring scoop
24 sq ft. filter will need approx. 4.8 scoops of D.E
36 sq ft. filter will need  approx. 7.2 scoops D.E
48 sq ft. filter will need  approx. 9.6 scoops D.E
60 sq ft. filter will need approx. 12 scoops. D.E
72  sq ft. filter will need approx. 14.4 scoops D.E
Rule of thumb. Divide 5 into the D.E filters sq. ft. area to determine how many scoops of D.E will be needed.
