    Description

    Japanese Iyoroi Cabinetmaker's Chisels feature laminated-blade design for superb sharpening and edge-holding characteristics.
    All chisels are 8-3/4” long. Bolstered tang and heavy steel ferrule at the butt  are designed to be hit with a steel hammer. The traditional barrel shaped chisel hammer is flat on one side and slightly crowned or rounded on the other. The rounded side is used for nailing, and other side for striking chisels. The 375g hammer is a perfect match for this set of chisels - heavy enough to get the job done without fatiguing the user. Set of six includes: 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 18mm, 24mm and 30mm chisels.
    The box is Walnut and, as can be seen in the pic, the top serves as a holder to place the chisels are a convenient angle to pick up when in use. The top of the box is book-matched sapwood, which is clear when viewed on the underside.
    This set is used; all chisels have been honed and lightly used.
