    Offered is an antique 7/16" gouge chisel made by ADDIS, as pictured.
    The tool is marked "J.B. ADDIS & SONS" and "PRIZE MEDALS_51, 62, 70 & 71" and has about a No 6 sweep (slight).
    This classic tool survives in excellent condition; it has only been lightly surface cleaned and is presented as found, no rust and has a superb overall patina.
    The handle appears to be original to the tool, clean, no chips and is tight to the iron (couple of tight age checks in the tang area).
    Suitable for work or display, this classic could be a functional tool for the craftsman or a wonderful display item for the collector or decorator.
