This DE self-regeneration filter is a high-performance swimming pool filter and is designed to provide years of trouble-free operation. Features a safety latch lid to prevent unwanted entry into the tank. Comes complete with easy to clean DE element cartridge. Requires 3 Lbs of DE powder, when using a like filter media follow package directions. Plumbing is for 1 1/2" threaded fittings. Measures: 42 3/4" H x 10" W.

- When the pressure gauge on your DE filter is reading 8 to 10 lbs above your starting pressure, back washing the filter to remove the dirt is an easy step. Just move the filter valve to backwash your DE filter and discharge the dirty filter powder. DE filter powder is not included.
