    Description

    5 total pieces.  One James Swan mortising socket chisel.  Nice vintage condition. Some damage around the ends of the socket handle insert. Still very usable.  Blade is in very good condition.
    One very cool rare W. Butcher with full branding 1" wood chisel with a very unique brass cap. Very heavy solid chisel.  Cap has been pounded on and shows damage. I've never seen another chisel like this one, very old. The wood handle has multiple cracks but with the two brass surrounds it is very solid.  Very cool piece old antique chisel!
    One Japan wood handle chisel with leather end cap, 1/2 says forged steel ... tested Japan.  One small carving chisel, unbranded.  One carving knife with wood handle. Has a damaged tip.  Branding on the handle that I can't read.  Says USA and No. 1 but I'm unable to make out the brand.  All 5 included in this auction.  See pictures for additional details.  Will be shipped bubble wrapped in a small priority box.
