Well used vintage Stanley paring chisel 1/4" blade. USA - Nice!

For sale is a well used Stanley bevelled edge chisel
in full working order.
This is a well-used chisels that is still in good working order.
The chisel has bevelled
edge blades that measure 2 1/2" long. The blade has clearly been honed in the past. I have
resisted the temptation to hone it and have given it a light once over with superfine steel wool
and a coat of paste wax to prevent  flash rusting.
The handle is made from bakelite and has various scuffs, scrapes, dents etc. (see pictures)
consistent with being used in a workshop environment.
There are no owners marks, no
etchings, no rust, no bends etc. There are various hammer marks on the cap of the chisel,
which are made of steel and I believe goes all the way through to the blade (see pictures).
All in all a Stanley chisels that has clearly seen a lot of use, but which still has a good few
years left in it. Feels very nicely balanced in the hand .
